Getting Ready For the Holidays!

If you have ever thought about enhancing your appearance for a more youthful look then you know the right person. If you want to have any sort of procedure like botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser or even starting a new skin care regimen, you should do that at least two weeks prior to any event. I tell my patients that they can expect some swelling for about a week. For botox, it takes 10-14 days for the final cosmetic result. So when thinking about your appearance and getting ready for the holidays the next 6 weeks is the ultimate time to start. This gives your body time to heal and has you looking your best before Halloween and Thanksgiving. Even though we are heading into colder weather, make sure you wear daily sunscreen on your face to help combat fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Come see me because I have top of the line physician grade sunscreens from Elta MD and Obagi.
